1. COMPANY PROFILE & OVERVIEW

Gabiro Agribusiness Hub Ltd is a joint venture company established between the Government of Rwanda, through the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources (MINAGRI) as the majority shareholder, and Netafim Ltd, a globally recognized Israeli leader in agricultural manufacturing and irrigation solutions.

The Joint Venture (JV) and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) agreements were signed on February 23rd, 2019, initiating Gabiro Agribusiness Hub Project – Phase I, covering 5,600 hectares out of a planned 15,600 hectares in Karangazi and Rwimiyaga Sectors of Nyagatare District. Phase II will extend the project to additional areas in Nyagatare and into Gatsibo District.

GAH Ltd is seeking a highly competent and dynamic professional to serve as Administration Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The role provides high-level administrative and executive support to the CEO and requires strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced, digitally enabled environment.


2. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the CEO’s calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications on behalf of the CEO, including emails, phone calls, and official correspondence.

  • Prepare, edit, and format correspondence, presentations, reports, and other executive documents.

  • Conduct research and compile data to support reports and presentations for executive decision-making.

  • Coordinate and oversee special projects assigned by the CEO, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

  • Assist in preparing agendas, minutes, and materials for Board meetings, management meetings, and executive sessions.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise high levels of discretion and professionalism.

  • Liaise between the CEO and internal departments, as well as external stakeholders, partners, and clients.

  • Collaborate with other executive assistants and team members to ensure smooth organizational operations.

  • Perform additional administrative and executive support duties as assigned by the CEO.


3. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration Sciences, Management, Law, or a related field, with equivalent practical experience in a fast-moving, digital work environment.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience supporting senior leadership or executive management.

  • Strong digital organization skills, including calendar management, workflow coordination, and priority tracking using modern productivity tools.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across emails, presentations, virtual meetings, and messaging platforms.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, collaboration tools, cloud platforms, and emerging digital solutions.

  • Digital communication and personal branding skills are a strong advantage.

  • Candidates with an active social media presence, demonstrated through content creation, engagement, and measurable followership, will have added advantage.

  • High level of data confidentiality awareness and cyber-security sensitivity.

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and proactive problem-solving skills.

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of learning new digital tools quickly.

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and digital environments.
