Job Overview

Irembo is launching a national-scale telemedicine platform to transform healthcare delivery in Rwanda, building on the legacy of Babyl Rwanda. The Project Manager will orchestrate the end-to-end delivery of this multi-phased rollout, integrating advanced technologies like AI, aligning technical delivery with clinical safety, regulatory requirements, and national infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of the Telemedicine platform rollout.
Launch patient interfaces (USSD, Voice, Mobile App, Web) and provider portals (Clinician, Pharmacy, Lab).
Coordinate AI integration to improve diagnosis and personalize care.
Oversee scheduling, dependencies, and resource allocation, integrating national systems such as Insurance/RSSB claims.
Act as primary liaison between technical teams and stakeholders including Ministry of Health, RSSB, and NIDA.
Lead planning for integrations with national EMR/Health Information Systems (e.g., eBuzima).
Manage risks and dependencies related to clinical safety and quality assurance.
Support Clinical Governance Committee, ensuring project alignment with audits and professional standards.
Lead cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Operations, Clinical) using Agile and SDLC methodologies.

Qualifications & Experience

5+ years in Project Management for large-scale software or digital transformation projects.
Proven experience managing complex, multi-system integrations with government or enterprise systems.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
Experience leading cross-functional teams involving Product, Engineering, Operations, and Clinical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification.
Experience in HealthTech or familiarity with Digital Health standards and protocols.
Experience coordinating projects with both backend systems and AI/ML deployment.
