Job Overview

The Massage Therapist is responsible for delivering high-quality massage treatments while ensuring that the massage area remains clean, professional, and guest-ready at all times.

The role focuses on:

• Massage services

• Guest satisfaction

• Treatment quality

• Operational excellence within the massage space

⚠️ This role does not include responsibility for developing wellness programs or activities beyond massage services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Massage Therapy Services

• Deliver professional, high-quality massage treatments tailored to guest needs.

• Maintain strong knowledge of massage techniques and their benefits.

• Ensure consistent service standards aligned with lodge expectations.

2. Massage Area Management

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and readiness of massage rooms.

• Ensure proper setup, ambiance, and presentation of the massage space.

• Coordinate with housekeeping regarding linen, cleaning, and supplies.

3. Guest Experience & Engagement

• Provide warm, professional, and personalized service to guests.

• Clearly explain available massage options and recommend suitable treatments.

• Encourage repeat bookings and service upgrades where appropriate.

4. Inventory & Equipment Control

• Monitor massage oils, linens, consumables, and equipment.

• Report low stock levels or faulty equipment promptly.

• Ensure all tools and equipment are well maintained and safe for use.

5. Administration & Reporting

• Maintain accurate treatment records and booking logs.

• Submit monthly reports on treatments delivered and guest feedback.

Qualifications & Skills

Applicants should have:

• Certified Massage Therapist qualification with valid license

• Proven experience in massage therapy in a hotel, lodge, or spa

• English language proficiency (French is an added advantage)

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

• Good time management and attention to detail

• Professional appearance and attitude

• Passion for guest care and wellness services

1. Massage Quality & Guest Satisfaction

• Minimum 4.5 / 5 guest satisfaction rating

• Positive guest feedback on massage services

• Number of repeat massage bookings

2. Service Delivery & Productivity

• Number of treatments delivered weekly or monthly

• Massage room readiness before bookings

• Minimal service delays or cancellations

3. Revenue Contribution

• Monthly massage service revenue

• Upselling rate after initial treatments

4. Massage Area Management

• Cleanliness and presentation scores from inspections

• Zero hygiene or safety issues

5. Inventory & Equipment Management

• No service disruption due to stock shortages

• Equipment uptime and functionality

6. Professional Conduct

• Compliance with lodge policies

• Punctuality and adherence to work schedules
