Position Summary
The Maintenance Operation and Planning Specialist will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment availability, reliability, and operational efficiency in smelter operations.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Develop and maintain maintenance plans aligned with operational requirements.
Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks.
Monitor maintenance performance indicators and prepare analytical reports.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental (HSE) standards and company procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance planning, reliability, and cost optimization.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in maintenance operations and planning.
Proven experience in maintenance scheduling, planning, and execution.
Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
Ability to prepare maintenance plans, schedules, and reports.
Familiarity with HSE standards and safe work practices.
Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
