POSITION SUMMARY
EBC Sales Executive
The role is responsible for delivering excellent guest service while supporting reservations, sales, and marketing operations. The incumbent will handle guest inquiries, reservations, rewards processing, and administrative tasks, while applying sales techniques to maximize revenue and maintain guest loyalty to the Marriott brand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest Services & Reservations
Receive, answer, and process guest calls, requests, questions, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations via phone, fax, or email.
Enter and update Marriott Rewards information accurately in the reservation system.
Assist guests with redeeming Marriott Rewards points and provide guidance on available benefits.
Coordinate with relevant departments (Sales, Accounting, Data Administration, etc.) to resolve guest issues efficiently.
Sales & Brand Promotion
Apply sales and up-selling techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Offer appropriate complimentary items (e.g., reward points, vouchers, gift certificates) to recognize guest loyalty when authorized.
Promote and uphold Marriott’s brand image both internally and externally.
Administrative & Office Support
Perform general office duties in support of Sales & Marketing, including filing, emailing, typing, and document handling.
Maintain accurate written records and correspondence.
Teamwork & Professional Conduct
Support management in training and motivating team members and act as a role model.
Maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Protect confidential information and company assets at all times.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
Support team goals and contribute to a collaborative working environment.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Follow all workplace safety procedures and report incidents or unsafe conditions.
Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in customer service, reservations, sales, or hospitality
Supervisory Experience
