Position Overview
The Sales Agent is the face of Numida in the field, responsible for identifying, engaging, and onboarding small business clients. This role focuses on consultative selling—understanding client needs and offering financial solutions that support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Acquisition (70%)
Identify and onboard 15–20 clients monthly
Conduct face-to-face meetings in markets, business areas, and client premises
Understand clients’ business needs, cash flow, and growth plans
Present Numida’s services as partnership solutions
Handle objections and close deals effectively
Follow up consistently with potential clients
2. Relationship Management (20%)
Maintain regular engagement with existing clients
Collect testimonials and success stories
Address client concerns proactively
Build and leverage referral networks
3. Market Intelligence (10%)
Attend trade shows, networking events, and business meetings
Monitor competitor activities and market trends
Provide feedback and insights to management
Map and identify high-potential business areas
Qualifications & Requirements
Must Have
Minimum 1 year experience in:
B2B sales
Field marketing
(Preferably in financial services, FMCG, or distribution)
Strong ability to:
Engage business owners on financial topics (cash flow, margins, inventory)
Build trust and long-term relationships
Self-driven with strong time management skills
Resilient and able to handle rejection
Fluent in English and Kinyarwanda
Nice to Have
Experience in fintech or microfinance institutions
Experience working with wholesale/import businesses
Existing client network in assigned territory
