Job Purpose

The Camera Operator will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining CCTV systems to ensure safety, security, and effective surveillance across company facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install CCTV cameras and related equipment

• Test systems to ensure all cameras function properly

• Conduct regular inspections of CCTV equipment

• Monitor live footage to detect suspicious activities, theft, or incidents

• Report unusual activities to management promptly

• Prepare and submit incident reports

• Ensure continuous recording and proper system functionality

• Save and archive important video footage

• Control camera operations (zoom, rotate, focus)

• Operate monitoring screens and recording systems

• Provide technical support for CCTV system issues

• Assist the Security and Inspection department with surveillance data

• Track movements of people and vehicles when required

• Recommend system upgrades and improvements

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in:

  • Computer Science

  • Information Technology

  • Or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Camera Operator

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Good technical knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance tools
