About the Organization

Rwanda Interlink Transport Company Ltd (RITCO Ltd) is a public-private transport company providing sustainable public transportation services to both rural and urban populations in Rwanda.

The company is seeking qualified, committed, and competent candidates to join its Driver Reserve Pool, which will support future operational needs.

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process will follow a structured approach:

• Candidates will undergo an oral interview and a practical driving assessment.

• Successful applicants will be admitted into the Driver Reserve Pool, a merit-based talent database used for future deployment based on operational needs.

• Selected candidates will receive 20 days of refresher training provided at no cost by RITCO.

• The training aims to standardize safety procedures, service quality, and fleet management practices while strengthening drivers’ professional readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Drivers will be responsible for:

• Participating in all training sessions under the Driver Reserve Pool program.

• Operating buses safely and efficiently to transport passengers and their luggage.

• Ensuring proper vehicle maintenance, cleanliness, and fuel management.

• Ensuring efficient use of the bus.

• Conducting basic vehicle inspections and reporting mechanical issues to the RITCO Garage.

• Adhering strictly to traffic laws and regulations.

• Following all company rules and operational guidelines.

Job Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Bus Driver.

• Valid Driving License Category D1.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to read and write at least one official language used in Rwanda.

• Strong sense of responsibility and customer service.

• Age between 21 and 45 years.

• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test from RFI.
