Job Overview

Sambora Kinigi Lodge is seeking a qualified and professional Massage Therapist to provide high-quality massage treatments while maintaining a clean, welcoming, and guest-ready massage environment. The role focuses exclusively on massage services, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence within the massage area.

This position does not involve the development of wellness programs or additional activities beyond massage services.

Key Responsibilities

Massage Therapy Services

• Deliver professional, high-quality massage treatments tailored to individual guest needs.

• Apply a variety of massage techniques with a strong understanding of their benefits.

• Maintain consistent service standards aligned with lodge expectations.

Massage Area Management

• Ensure massage rooms are clean, hygienic, and fully prepared at all times.

• Maintain proper setup, ambiance, and presentation of the massage space.

• Coordinate with housekeeping regarding linens, cleanliness, and supplies.

Guest Experience & Engagement

• Provide warm, professional, and personalized service to all guests.

• Clearly explain massage options and recommend appropriate treatments.

• Encourage repeat bookings and appropriate service upgrades.

Inventory & Equipment Control

• Monitor massage oils, linens, consumables, and equipment.

• Report low stock levels or equipment issues promptly.

• Ensure all tools and equipment are safe, clean, and well maintained.

Administration & Reporting

• Maintain accurate treatment records and daily booking logs.

• Submit basic monthly reports on treatments delivered and guest feedback.

Qualifications & Experience

• Certified Massage Therapist with a valid professional license.

• Proven experience in massage therapy within a hotel, lodge, or spa environment.

• Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is an added advantage.

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Good time management, attention to detail, and professional appearance.

• Passion for guest care and wellness service delivery.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Guest satisfaction rating of 4.5/5 or higher for massage services.

• Number of massage treatments delivered per week/month.

• Cleanliness and presentation standards of massage facilities.

• Massage revenue contribution and repeat bookings.

• Compliance with lodge policies, punctuality, and professional conduct.
