Position: Managing Director
FISA CO PLC is seeking a self-motivated, high-integrity professional with strong ethical standards and excellent communication skills to fill the position of Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of FISA CO PLC.
Ensure implementation of decisions made by the General Assembly and the Board of Directors.
Propose new policies and amendments to existing policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Establish and maintain an effective internal control system.
Prepare, review, and submit financial reports to the Board of Directors for approval.
Draft and review business plans, action plans, and institutional budgets.
Sign contracts on behalf of the institution.
Represent the institution before legal authorities and other institutions.
Oversee recruitment, performance appraisal, and evaluation of staff reports.
Conduct research, surveys, and institutional development studies.
Perform any other duties as defined in institutional policies and procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
Rwandan nationality.
At least three (3) years of experience in management positions.
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in microfinance institutions or banking.
Basic understanding of marketing principles.
Proficiency in Kinyarwanda, English, and French.
Strong computer skills, including experience with at least one banking software (knowledge of accounting software is an added advantage).
Excellent communication, adaptability, and writing skills.
High level of integrity, conscientiousness, and good moral character.
Good social reputation.
