Description

The ACU Trainers for Art & Graphics Designing Courses will provide professional training to students enrolled in creative programs offered by LTGS Academy Utilities (ACU), an initiative of LTGS Rwanda PLC. Trainers will teach visual design principles, digital illustration, branding, and multimedia design while guiding students through practical projects to build strong creative and technical skills required in the modern design industry.

Requirements

Education: Candidates must hold at least a Diploma (A1) or Bachelor’s degree (A0) in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, or a related creative field. Professional certifications in design tools or digital media will be considered an added advantage.

Experience: Applicants should have 2–5 years of experience in graphic design, digital art, branding, or multimedia production. Experience in teaching, mentoring, or conducting creative workshops for students or professionals is highly desirable.

Skills: Strong creativity, visual storytelling, and design thinking abilities are required. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills to effectively teach design concepts and guide learners through practical creative processes.

Technical Competence: Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, CorelDRAW, or similar graphic design tools is essential. Knowledge of digital illustration, branding design, and multimedia production tools will be an added advantage.

Personal Attributes: The ideal candidate should be creative, patient, organized, and passionate about teaching. They must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to inspire and support learners in developing professional design skills.
