Job Overview

Marriott International is seeking a Laundry Supervisor to oversee daily laundry operations, ensure proper inventory management of uniforms and linens, and lead a team to deliver high-quality laundry services. The role focuses on operational efficiency, safety compliance, equipment monitoring, and staff supervision to maintain Marriott’s service and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a complete inventory of uniforms and linens.
Conduct monthly inventory of laundry supplies.
Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying equipment.
Inspect linens and terry for damage and quality issues.
Report faulty equipment, maintenance needs, and safety hazards to management.
Ensure laundry requests for all departments are completed accurately and on time.
Train employees on laundry procedures, safety practices, and equipment operation.
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching staff.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and security procedures.
Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency, quality, safety, and cost savings.
Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and protection of company assets.
Perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, bending, and moving equipment as required.

Qualifications & Experience

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
No specific license or certification required.
