Job Title: Audit, Tax & Advisory Associate
Job Summary
The Audit, Tax & Advisory Associate will support the delivery of audit, tax, and advisory engagements by executing assigned tasks in line with approved work plans, methodologies, and professional standards.
This role provides structured exposure across professional services, enabling the Associate to develop strong technical, analytical, and client service skills while contributing to high-quality deliverables for client engagements.
Roles & Responsibilities
Execute assigned components of audit, tax, and advisory engagements in accordance with firm methodologies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.
Support engagement planning, risk assessment, and understanding of client business processes, internal controls, and operating environments.
Prepare accurate and well-structured working papers, analyses, schedules, and documentation to support engagement conclusions.
Perform testing, analysis, and evaluations of financial, tax, operational, and control information under appropriate supervision.
Draft reports, financial statements, management letters, tax analyses, and advisory deliverables with clear observations and practical recommendations.
Demonstrate working knowledge of relevant tax systems and understand sector-specific considerations.
Apply professional judgment and maintain professional skepticism when identifying issues, risks, or inconsistencies.
Take responsibility for assigned tasks and engagements, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to professional standards.
Job Competencies (Qualifications, Experience & Skills)
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is mandatory.
2–3 years’ work experience in an audit firm.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to apply professional skepticism and sound judgment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities within multidisciplinary teams.
High ethical standards, integrity, and professionalism.
Demonstrated commitment to learning, adaptability, and professional growth.
