Description
The ACU Trainers for Software Development Courses will deliver practical and theoretical training to students enrolled in programs offered by LTGS Academy Utilities (ACU), an initiative of LTGS Rwanda PLC. Trainers will design course materials, teach programming concepts, guide practical projects, and support learners in developing strong software development skills aligned with industry standards.
Requirements
Education: Candidates must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (A0) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A Diploma (A1) with strong professional experience in software development may also be considered.
Experience: Applicants should have 2–5 years of experience in software development, programming, or IT training. Experience in teaching programming languages, mentoring students, or conducting technical workshops is highly desirable.
Skills: Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, PHP, JavaScript, C#, or similar technologies is required. Candidates must also demonstrate good teaching, communication, and mentoring skills to effectively guide learners through practical development tasks.
Technical Competence: Proficiency in software development frameworks, databases, version control systems like Git, and modern development tools is essential. Experience with web development, mobile applications, or system development will be an added advantage.
Personal Attributes: The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching, patient, organized, and results-oriented. They must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, creativity in training delivery, and commitment to helping learners build professional software development skills.
