GOAL 3 is a foundation and social enterprise dedicated to improving healthcare in low-resource settings.
Through its ward-wide patient monitoring and decision support system, IMPALA, GOAL 3 supports health workers in early detection and better clinical decision-making—helping reduce child mortality by up to 54%.
To support its expanding activities in Rwanda, GOAL 3 is seeking a structured and motivated Service Coordinator.
Job Summary
As a Service Coordinator, you will manage and deliver services to new and existing hospitals, including:
System implementation
Technical installation
Clinical training
Support visits and troubleshooting
Continuous service improvement
You will work closely with hospital staff and the GOAL 3 team to ensure successful adoption and sustained use of the IMPALA system, under the guidance of the Country Manager and Service Operations Team.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Technical Installation
Lead implementation of the IMPALA system in hospitals across Rwanda
Perform technical installation following the GOAL 3 service approach
Plan logistics and coordinate implementation activities at hospital sites
Hospital Support & Training
Act as primary point of contact during implementation
Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting support
Support clinical training activities for hospital staff
Ensure sustainability after implementation
Stakeholder & Reporting Responsibilities
Participate in meetings with Ministry of Health (MoH), NGOs, and funders
Work with the global team on financial reporting, compliance, risk management, and planning
Collect and share user feedback to improve implementation and service delivery
Contribute to continuous improvement and organizational learning
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in:
Biomedical Engineering
Health Technology Management
Project/Operations Management (healthcare focus)
Or a clinical degree with strong technical affinity
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in hospital settings
Experience coordinating hospital device/IT implementations or healthcare service operations
Demonstrated project management and multi-partner coordination experience
Experience with quality improvement initiatives or training (preferred)
Stakeholder engagement experience with hospital leadership, clinical staff, biomeds, and at least one of: MOH, RBC, RMS, RSOG, or NGOs
Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent documentation and reporting abilities
Ability to work with IT systems and online platforms
Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and influencing skills
Ability to analyse, present, consult, and obtain buy-in
Employment Terms
Gross monthly salary: 750,000 – 1,500,000 RWF, depending on experience
