POSITION SUMMARY
The Cluster Marketing Manager plays a key role in developing and executing property-level marketing and communications that enhance hotel brand image, drive revenue, and increase market share. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, this position delivers integrated on-brand messaging through traditional, digital, and social media channels, with a strong focus on Food & Beverage promotions targeting both in-house guests and the local market.
The role collaborates closely with Operations, Food & Beverage, Sales, Revenue Management, eCommerce, and regional Marketing teams to ensure all marketing activities are strategically aligned and performance-driven. Success is measured by contribution to sales and revenue growth, social media engagement, and the effective use of marketing resources to deliver impactful campaigns.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education & Experience
Required (one of the following):
2-year degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field
4 years’ experience in sales, marketing, digital marketing, or a related professional area
(Hospitality marketing or digital advertising experience preferred)
OR
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or related field
2 years’ experience in sales, marketing, digital marketing, or a related professional area
(Hospitality marketing or digital advertising agency experience preferred)
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Hotel Marketing & Advertising
Execute the annual marketing plan within budget, in consultation with General Manager, Director of Sales & Marketing, Food & Beverage leadership, Operations, and regional marketing teams.
Partner with Operations, Sales, and F&B teams to design promotions that drive incremental revenue.
Act as liaison with advertising agencies for creative development and media planning.
Manage F&B media schedules and ensure timely settlement of accounts.
Collaborate with Revenue Management to ensure accurate offer loading and proper audience targeting.
Execute email marketing, display advertising, and promotional campaigns.
Ensure all digital advertising aligns with brand voice and standards.
Maintain close coordination with Cluster eCommerce Manager to track performance and optimize initiatives.
Social Media & Digital Content Management
Manage and update content across local digital platforms, including hotel websites and travel sites.
Develop and execute promotional campaigns across F&B, rooms, weddings, spa, and conferences.
Actively manage online reputation by monitoring guest feedback and responding appropriately.
Public Relations & Visual Asset Management
Develop and execute quarterly PR plans in collaboration with agencies and hotel leadership.
Build and maintain relationships with local media, including food critics and bloggers.
Write and distribute press releases for events, promotions, and hotel outlets.
Manage media coverage tracking and monthly reporting.
Coordinate hotel-sponsored events, community engagement, and press activities.
Manage photography and visual content production for marketing, PR, and F&B promotions.
Ensure all visual assets adhere to brand guidelines and standards.
Direct Marketing & Collateral Development
Coordinate development and distribution of hotel and F&B printed materials.
Manage inventory and archiving of marketing collateral.
Support production of signage, displays, and promotional materials.
Collect competitor collateral and market intelligence monthly.
Ensure all collateral complies with brand standards and Brand Standard Audit (BSA) requirements.
General Marketing & Leadership
Lead and coordinate all communication activities with strong emphasis on F&B campaigns.
Support hotel newsletters and joint promotional initiatives.
Ensure hotel websites and digital platforms remain current and accurate.
Partner with Sales & Marketing leadership to align marketing plans with revenue strategy.
Provide marketing training and subject matter expertise to hotel leadership teams.
Monitor competitive activity and emerging digital marketing trends.
Report on marketing and eCommerce performance in collaboration with Revenue and eCommerce teams.
