Job Summary

The Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for developing and implementing marketing and communication strategies that enhance the company’s brand identity, public image, and market presence.

The role involves leading initiatives that promote the organization’s products, strengthen brand visibility, and support overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing and distribution strategies, including defining marketing expense lines

• Plan, coordinate, and implement internal and external communication initiatives

• Manage media, marketing, and sales campaigns to promote the company’s brand and products

• Provide guidance on communication strategies to ensure brand consistency and market resonance

• Lead development of:

  • press releases

  • presentations

  • articles

  • brochures

  • newsletters

  • website content

  • promotional videos

• Coordinate media engagement and maintain strong relationships with target media outlets

• Initiate media opportunities such as:

  • interviews

  • feature stories

• Maintain a database of:

  • media contacts

  • donors

  • stakeholders

• Build partnerships and manage collaborative projects with like-minded organizations

• Manage procurement of marketing materials and track inventory of promotional items

Compliance Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Sanctions policies

• Support implementation of:

  • Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures

  • customer due diligence processes

• Monitor and identify potential compliance risks or breaches

• Escalate suspicious or unusual activities to the Risk and Compliance Office

• Maintain high standards of data quality and regulatory compliance

Qualifications & Experience

• University degree in Marketing or a related field

• Basic Insurance qualification

• Sales and Marketing qualification

Skills & Competencies

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills

• Good interpersonal skills

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong understanding of insurance policy covers and claims interpretation
