Position Summary

The Community Entrepreneurship & Empowerment Officer will play a key role in designing and implementing programs that promote entrepreneurship, self-reliance, and economic empowerment among beneficiaries. The role involves working closely with communities to build sustainable income-generating opportunities and enhance livelihoods.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement community-based entrepreneurship and empowerment programs

• Train and mentor beneficiaries in basic business skills, financial literacy, and income-generating activities

• Identify, support, and monitor viable small business initiatives within communities

• Monitor and evaluate program performance, impact, and progress

• Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders and local partners

• Facilitate access to markets and economic opportunities for beneficiaries

• Prepare timely reports on program implementation and outcomes

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience in community development, entrepreneurship, or a related field

• Strong training, facilitation, and mentoring skills

• Solid understanding of small business development and financial literacy

• Ability to work effectively in both rural and urban communities across Rwanda

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets

• High level of integrity, commitment, and teamwork
